Coronavirus SARS CoV 2 (COVID 19) Prevention Protocols (Specific to Role)


Roles/Functions other than those in the Kitchen, Production, Packaging and Dispatch are to follow the below specific practices.

  • On arrival, at your time of arrival, do a complete scrub; follow the below checklist:
    • Sanitize your hands with the hand sanitizer available at the scrubbing station.
    • Remove the face mask you are already wearing as you came to work

    DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE OR REMOVE THE MASK BEFORE SANITIZING YOUR HANDS!

      • Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
      • Dry your hands using a paper towel provided at the scrubbing station – BEFORE YOU TURN OFF THE WATER TAP.
      • Turn off the water tap using the paper towel in your hand so you do not touch the tap with your bare hand.
      • Dispose off the paper towel in the dustbin.
      • Collect your Hygiene and Contamination Prevention Kit (HCP) from the front desk at the time of reporting attendance. This kit includes two face masks, two hair caps and two nitrate gloves.
      • Collect a pocket hand-sanitizer spray bottle if you are not carrying your own.
      • Put the Hair Cap and the Face Mask on and keep it on.
    • Throughout your working day:
      • Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds once every 2 hours for at least 20 seconds.
      • If you are cooking or packing, wear a pair of Nitrate Gloves. Keep sanitizing your hands (with gloves on) frequently using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer.
      • Replace your face mask at least once every 4 hours.
      • Do not touch your face or remove your mask without first sanitizing your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer. Sanitize first, then remove the mask.
      • Immediately dispose off the mask you just removed and sanitize your hands before putting-on the new mask.
      • When you remove your gloves, do so following the mask and glove removal guidelines poster.
    Kitchen, Production, Packaging and Dispatch are to follow the below specific practices.
    • While Preparing to Cook or doing the Prep for a Sous Chef or Chef: 
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer prior touching anything.
      • Wear a pair of Nitrate Gloves and sanitize the entire prep station using the On-Station Surface Sanitizer.
      • Check that all the tools have been washed and sanitized. If not, get it done now or do it yourself. Use the Alcohol Spray or soap and water to do this.
      • Remove your Nitrate Gloves and dispose them off in the Scrub Dispose-Off bin.
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer.
      • Wear a new pair of Nitrate Gloves and wear fresh a pair of cotton gloves above Nitrate Gloves.
    • While Cooking: 
      • Wear a mask.
      • Wear a hair-cap.
      • Wear Nitrate Gloves and/or Cotton Gloves wherever it is safe and appropriate.
      • Practice Contact-Less cooking.
      • Sanitize your hands with the On-Station Hand Sanitizer frequently.
      • Ensure that the Pass Supervisor and servers are following their practices completely.
      • If you are cooking or packing, wear a pair of Nitrate Gloves. Keep sanitizing your hands with gloves frequently using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer.
      • Replace your face mask at least once every 4 hours.
      • Do not touch your face or remove your mask without first sanitizing your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer. Sanitize first, then remove the mask.
      • Immediately dispose off the mask you just removed and sanitize your hands before putting-on the new mask.
      • When you remove your gloves, do so following the mask and glove removal guidelines poster.
    • While on Production Assignments/Processes:
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer prior touching anything.
      • Wear a pair of Nitrate Gloves and sanitize all areas that you may be touching or which may have been touched by someone prior to your arrival for your shift using On-Station Surface Sanitizer.
      • Check that all the tools have been washed and sanitized. If not, get it done now or do it yourself. Use the Alcohol Spray or soap and water to do this.
      • After sanitation, remove your Nitrate Gloves and dispose them off in the Scrub Dispose-Off bin.
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer.
      • Wear a new pair of Nitrate Gloves and wear fresh a pair of cotton gloves above Nitrate Gloves.
      • Do not touch any raw material with bare hands. We have started the process of transferring all raw material into containers that facilitate touch-less handling.
      • Ensure that all fresh produce is appropriately washed prior to use.
      • AT the end of the day, ensure that you leave your workstation and tools completely clean and sanitized.
    • While on Packaging Assignments/Processes:
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer prior touching anything.
      • Wear a pair of Nitrate Gloves and sanitize all areas that you may be touching or which may have been touched by someone prior to your arrival for your shift using On-Station Surface Sanitizer.
      • Check that all the tools have been washed and sanitized. If not, get it done now or do it yourself. Use the Alcohol Spray or soap and water to do this.
      • After sanitation, remove your Nitrate Gloves and dispose them off in the Scrub Dispose-Off bin.
      • Sanitize your hands using the On-Station Hand Sanitizer.
      • Wear a new pair of Nitrate Gloves.
      • Ensure that all containers have been sterilized per standard procedure.
      • Do not touch any packed product with bare hands while sorting, label checking, label application and placement in master containers/boxes.
      • Ensure that all master containers/boxes are shrink wrapped and the shrink-warp surface is whipped clean with a alcohol wipe.
      • At the end of the day, ensure that you leave your workstation and tools completely clean and sanitized.
